RESONANCE

Tepozatlan Mexico 2025

JUNE 9 – 16, 2025 | TEPOZTLAN,
MORELOS. MX

7 NIGHTS/ 8 DAYS

Align your body, mind, and spirit with life’s natural rhythms. This retreat is about peeling back the layers, connecting deeply with yourself and others, and cultivating a presence that resonates with authenticity and peace. Step into a space where you’re grounded, real, and fully present.

Join Tahl Rinsky's debut Haum Space retreat at Amate Camp, a family-owned healing sanctuary nestled at the foot of the Tepoztlán mountains in Mexico.

This sacred location, renowned for its rich Aztec heritage, offers an ideal setting to deepen your presence and reconnect with the rhythms of nature.

During this retreat, we will immerse ourselves in daily yoga, meditation, mantra, and inquiry practices, complemented by traditional rituals such as the Temazcal—a ceremonial sweat lodge integral to Mexican culture. Alongside these practices, you'll experience ice baths, jungle hikes, excursions to a nearby village, plenty of time to rest and restore, and fresh, local Mexican plant-based cuisine.

By embracing the natural environment and disconnecting from technology and the stresses of daily life, you’ll have the opportunity to honour the sacred space of transition, both in life and in practice. Tahl, with the support of Amate Camp, will hold space for each phase of your journey—whether big or small—helping you connect more deeply with the present moment. Together, through practice, curiosity, and community, we will create a container that fosters transformation as you explore the ancient culture and traditions of the Mayan people alongside your yoga and meditation practice while embracing Mother Nature.

Why Mexico? Why Amate Camp?

A note from your retreat facilitator, Tahl

Over 20 years ago, at 19 years old, I travelled from NYC to Mexico—a confused young person with a heavy pain body, searching for direction, purpose, and all the things. It was my first time meeting the jungle, and I experienced a profound awe. I remember this moment as clearly as if it were yesterday. As I write these words, the hairs on my body stand up—spirit is present. Staring out at the jungle from a mountaintop, I witnessed spirit not as an idea but as a deep knowing, giving space for the first time to experience a heart being broken open. This marked the beginning of my spiritual journey, which led me, 20 years later, to becoming the yoga facilitator I am today.

After 10 wonderful years with Creature Yoga, I’ve embarked on a solo journey—following a pathless path to realise my most profound potential and come home. My story becomes yours, and yours will become mine as we journey together to Mexico in June.

Mexico has been calling me back. Its rich culture is vibrant—spicy, sexy, and yet steeped in deep tradition. I chose Amate because it’s a family-owned place and a healing centre. You’ll know exactly what I mean when you meet Ricardo and his mother, who built, own, and work there daily, creating an environment of warmth and connection. Amate is also just 90 minutes by car from Mexico City!

During the retreat, we will explore the surroundings around Amate Camp, including the village of Tepoztlán, known for its rich history and spiritual significance. If you have extra time on either end of the retreat, you can explore the wonders of Mexico City, including Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul, vibrant markets, world-class cuisine, and the ancient ruins that dot the landscape.

This retreat will perfectly blend deep inner work, awe-inspiring surroundings, and joy as we explore everything this beautiful region offers. Together, we’ll dive deep into yoga, ritual, and connection, emerging with a light heart, a clear sense of direction, and newfound trust in the journey ahead.

About Tepozatlan

Located at the foot of the Tepoztlán mountains, it is a magical town with deep Mexican roots and ancient pre-Hispanic traditions still present today. Tepozteco Mountain is a sacred pyramid known for the ancient Aztec God of pulque, fertility, and harvest.

Tepoztlan, also known as the birthplace of Quetzalcoatl, serves as an energetic portal to elevate one's vibration. Lush green areas surround Amate Camp, and spectacular mountain views invite you to disconnect from your routine and reconnect with nature.

Getting there
